Salary & Compensation UCLA provides a full pay range. Qualifications Skill in effectively interacting with students and staff from diverse cultural, ethnic/racial, social and sexual orientations. (Required) Demonstrated skills in using various computer systems and applications. (Required) Written and verbal English communication skills to clearly convey information to patients, students, clinicians and staff, using correct grammar and syntax. (Required) Skill in organizing patient flow. (Required) Skill in working independently and following through on assignments with minimal direction. (Required) Ability to work with the optician to provide the optician guidance in ordering frames, spectacle lenses, and contact lenses for patients. (Required) Ability to receive constructive criticism and guidance with equanimity and engage in discussions with supervisor regarding performance in a professional manner. (Required) Ability to perform all duties with acute awareness regarding confidentiality and privacy, and legal ramifications. (Required) EyeMed and VSP vision plans credentialing. (Required) Education, Licenses, Certifications & Personal Affiliations Doctoral degree in optometry issued by an accredited school/college of optometry.
