•This position will be available as a temporary, full-time position (Monday through Friday) for the month of the November, with potential for part-time options beyond that timeframe.

•About the Opportunity Red Rocks Eyecare is seeking a licensed Optometrist to provide full-time coverage during our lead doctor's maternity leave throughout November. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive eye exams, including refractions, ocular health assessments, and contact lens fittings Diagnose and manage ocular conditions and diseases within scope of practice Prescribe corrective lenses and, where applicable, medications Maintain accurate patient records in our EHR system Collaborate with front desk and technician staff to keep patient flow on schedule Provide a smooth handoff and continuity of care upon the returning doctor's arrival Qualifications Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program Must hold an active, unrestricted optometry license in Colorado Available and ready to start November 2nd 2026 Comfortable working independently in an established practice Strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach Prior locum/temporary coverage experience a plus, but not required Schedule November 2nd - November 30th 2026 Monday-Friday, 10:00am - 6:00pm (approx. 40 hours/week) Compensation Pay range: $65.00 to $75.00 per hour or $2600 to $3000 per week Join us for this rewarding temporary opportunity where your expertise will directly impact patients' vision health!
