Chicago, IL Job Details Part-time $70 - $80 an hour 16 hours ago Full Job Description Eye Q Optique is seeking a compassionate, energetic optometrist for a part-time role at our Chicago location in the Illinois Medical District. As part of a group practice with 18 years of independent optometry experience and 6.5 years serving patients at this location - we've built a genuine balance of medical and optical patients. The ideal candidate brings strong clinical skills, comfort with medical optometry, and a real passion for patient care. You won't be doing your own workups. Pretesting (tonometry, autolensometer, autorefraction with K readings) and diagnostic imaging (fundus photography, OCT, topography, visual fields) are all handled by our staff — so you can focus on diagnosis, treatment, and patient care. Specialty care at this location This is a clinically rich practice. Beyond routine and medical exams, our Chicago location offers myopia management, specialty contact lens fittings, glaucoma diagnosis and management, dry eye treatment, and ocular emergency care - so you'll have the variety and depth to practice at the top of your scope. What we're looking for Doctor of Optometry (OD) with strong clinical and refractive skills Comfort and confidence with medical optometry across diverse patient populations A warm, patient-first chairside manner and the ability to work efficiently in a busy practice Experienced ODs and new graduates both welcome — we offer a supportive team and mentorship for new grads The details Part-time with flexible scheduling (1-3 days a week) Competitive compensation commensurate with experience Target start:
