Part-Time Optometrist - Southeast Michigan Comprehensive Mobile Care - 4.1 Detroit, MI Job Details Part-time $100 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Mileage reimbursement Qualifications Ophthalmology patient education Patient treatment planning Working with geriatric patients Mid-level Working with seniors Doctor of Optometry Optometry License Ophthalmic patient examinations Patient treatment Patient education Geriatrics Full Job Description Optometrist | Part Time | Southeast Michigan $100/hour • Flexible scheduling • Equipment and supplies provided Mobile Medical Support Vision provides compassionate eye care to underserved seniors across Southeast Michigan, and we're looking for an experienced, patient, and kind Optometrist to grow with us. This is a great fit if you want to supplement your current practice, add some variety to your routine, or simply give back to a population that needs you. Work as little as one day a month, or up to three to four days a week. The schedule bends to fit your life, not the other way around. What you'd do: Perform thorough eye exams Diagnose and treat eye disease and conditions Prescribe eyeglasses and create patient treatment plans Educate patients on their eye health What we provide: $100 per hour All equipment and supplies, cost free Mileage reimbursement for local travel A Monday to Friday schedule with no evenings or weekends What you bring: Doctor of Optometry (OD) Active Michigan optometry license A warm, patient-first approach (experience with geriatric patients is a plus) We'd love to tell you more.
