Optometrist (O.D.)

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Optometrist (O.D.) to join our dynamic eye care team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive eye examinations, assist with, manage and treat ocular conditions, while delivering exceptional patient care. Duties Conduct thorough eye examinations using advanced diagnostic equipment to assess visual acuity, ocular health, and refractive errors Assist with and treat a wide range of eye diseases Prescribe corrective lenses, contact lenses, and medications as appropriate for each patient's needs Collaborate closely with our on-staff ophthalmologist in an inclusive and engaging environment Educate patients on eye health, treatment options, and proper use of eyewear or contact lenses Strong patient care skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and ophthalmology concepts Experience with optical equipment, EMR systems, and medical coding/billing processes Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and data security Experience working in working with a diverse patient populations Join us to make a difference in people's lives by providing top-tier eye care in a vibrant environment that values your expertise!
