Job Description

Part-Time Optometrist (OD)
Location:
Maplewood, MN Responsibilities Provide comprehensive eye examinations and refractive care. Diagnose and manage ocular diseases and medical eye conditions. Prescribe corrective lenses and contact lenses. Develop individualized treatment plans and educate patients regarding ocular health. Maintain accurate and timely patient records. Collaborate with support staff to ensure high-quality patient care and an outstanding patient experience. Qualifications Required Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution. Active state optometry license or ability to obtain licensure. Strong clinical and communication skills. Commitment to providing exceptional patient-centered care. Preferred Experience in comprehensive and medical optometry. Ability to thrive in a collaborative, patient-focused environment. Passion for delivering outstanding service and building long-term patient relationships. Schedule Part-time opportunity. Preferably 3 days per week (2 days considered). Consistent weekly schedule (no fluctuating days). Monday-Friday only.
Typical clinic hours:
Monday-Thursday:
9:00 AM - 5:00
PM Friday:
8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Potential to increase days and transition to a full-time role in the future. Compensation & Benefits Year 1 Compensation 3 days/week: $90,000 annualized salary. 2 days/week: $60,000 annualized salary. Year 2 and Beyond Transition to production-based compensation with increased earning potential. Expected opportunity for higher compensation compared with Year 1. Benefits Malpractice coverage. License reimbursement. Paid Time Off during Year 1. 401(k) plan beginning in Year 2.
