Job Description
Overview Seeking licensed part-time Optometrist for a well-established practice. This position will be 2-3 days per week, and there is some flexibility as to which days are worked. This is in a private practice setting, so the Optometrist must be fairly comfortable with disease diagnosis and management. The practice is located about 30 minutes south of Highway 270. There is potentially a chance to buy into the practice if the candidate is a good fit. Responsibilities Perform thorough eye examinations using advanced diagnostic tools (such as OCT, Optomap) to assess visual acuity and ocular health. Diagnose and manage a wide range of eye conditions, including refractive errors, glaucoma, cataracts, and other ocular diseases. Prescribe corrective lenses, contact lenses, etc. tailored to individual patient needs. Educate patients on eye health maintenance, preventive care, and treatment options. Requirements Valid licensure as an Optometrist in the relevant jurisdiction with current certification.
