Job Description
We are seeking an Optometrist for a 120-day assignment in North Carolina, starting Sep 10, 2026. This Physician will work Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, focusing on conducting eye exams, diagnosing and treating ocular diseases, prescribing eyeglasses, and advising on follow-up care, including prescribing antibiotics. The role involves visiting assisted living homes and nursing facilities with provided travel-friendly equipment. Responsibilities and Duties Conduct eye exams Diagnose and treat ocular disease Prescribe, fit, and adjust eyeglasses Advise patients, families, and facilities on follow-up care Prescribe antibiotics Visit assisted living homes and nursing facilities Utilize provided company laptop and travel-friendly equipment Additional Information Board Certified in Optometry Cases include ocular disease, ocular degeneration, cataracts, and vision checks The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities
