Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Associate Optometrist to join our dedicated eye care team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose and manage ocular conditions, and deliver exceptional patient care. Your expertise will help improve vision health and enhance the quality of life for our diverse patient community. Responsibilities Perform detailed eye examinations, including visual acuity testing, refraction, and ocular health assessments using advanced diagnostic tools. Diagnose and manage a wide range of eye conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and pediatric ocular issues. Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems to accurately document patient histories, clinical findings, treatment plans, and follow-up care. Educate patients on eye health, treatment options, and proper use of corrective lenses or medical devices. Collaborate with ophthalmologists, opticians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality at all times. Co-management with OMD for cataract and lasik patients. Perform IPL/RF and dry eye procedures such as amniotic membrane therapy (training available). Myopia management including Ortho Keratology, Misight, Stellest and Atropine. Specialty contact lens and soft contact lens fittings. Office Equipment and Technology Optos OCT with Angiography

master Topography Experience Prior experience in ophthalmology or optometry is preferred but not required; recent graduates with relevant clinical rotations are encouraged to apply. Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology related to the eye structure and function. Experience working with EMR/EHR systems for accurate record keeping. Knowledge of medical terminology related to eye health and general healthcare practices. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent patient care with a focus on customer service and effective communication skills. Familiarity with medical coding processes for billing and insurance purposes is advantageous. Pay:
$600.00 - $650.00 per day
