ATC Healthcare Northwest is seeking a Travel Optometrist for a 13-week assignment in Correctional Facilities located in Lakeview and Ontario, Oregon . This is a unique opportunity to provide essential eye care services in a correctional healthcare setting while earning competitive pay and making a meaningful impact on underserved populations.

TBD Optometrist Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive eye examinations and vision screenings Diagnose and treat common ocular conditions and diseases Prescribe corrective lenses and medications as appropriate Develop and implement treatment plans Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care Provide patient education regarding eye health and preventive care

Optometrist Qualifications:

Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program Active Oregon Optometrist license (or ability to obtain) Previous clinical experience required; correctional experience is a plus but not required Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills Ability to work independently and adapt to a correctional healthcare environment
