About Northeast Eye Care Center Northeast Eye Care Center was acquired by Dr. Benjamin Ondersma in 2014, followed by Camden Eye Care 2021. The practice offers primary care, diabetic eye care, management for glaucoma, cataracts, and ocular surface diseases. Also, the practice provides contact lens services and fittings for hard-to-fit contacts. Northeast Eye Care Center is located in a growing community and will relocate to a new stand-alone building. As the practice is expanding, the team is looking for an additional Optometrist to join a team of nine employees and continue to provide the world-class service patients know and expect. The professionals at Northeast Eye Care Center take a one-on-one approach to provide patient-centric care. The practice is well-appointed with automated optical equipment and behind-the-scenes functional technology, including autorefractors, OCT, OPTOS, and Humphry Visual Field. Cloud-based technology is utilized to manage electronic health records and establishes a baseline of patients' ocular health. The optical boutique offers customers the latest designs in fashion eyewear, including new luxury frames, at affordable prices. Plus, the Opticians offer personalized services to help patients select the perfect pair of glasses to complement lifestyles. About the opening Northeast Eye Care Center is seeking a full-time Optometrist who always strives to provide exceptional patient care to enrich the quality of patients' lives. You'll practice at least three days a week to provide comprehensive eye care for all patients—approximately two to three patients are cared for hourly, with the first appointment beginning at 9:00 a.m. and the last appointment at 4:00 p.m. The office is closed on weekends and holidays. A candidate who has a great personality and is willing to provide fill-in care at Camden Eye Care Center, located 35 miles from Columbia, will be a fantastic addition to the practice. For the right Optometrist, a future partnership or ownership opportunity may be available. To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, and compassion for patient health and safety.
