Veteran Medical Group Inc, (VMG) is a company founded in San Diego, California. We are customer-centric and social. We are corporation created to provide Veteran disability examinations to Veterans by Optometrists who are looking to explore non clinical opportunities in Military medicine.
Job Summary:
VMG is searching for qualified Ophthalmologists and Optometrists (MD and OD) healthcare providers to join our nation-wide network. One on one remote training on how to efficiently complete charting for DBQ's. See the veteran in-person at designated practice locations provided or at your own approved location. There is no ongoing care relationship with the Veteran and absolutely no prescribing. Complete web portal documentation (DBQ) to determine the veterans diagnoses/disability. The complete process should take approximately 30 minutes to one hour depending on how many claims the veteran has. Appointments will be scheduled in advance and are flexible to fit your schedule.
Required:
Must be Doctor of Optometry (OD) or Ophthalmologist (MD) Be able to perform the following test: Visual Acuity Test, Visual Field Test - Kinetic Perimetry, Tonometry, Slit Lamp/ External Eye Exam, Fundus/ Internal Eye Exam).
