Full Job Description Description:
Under the supervision of the Medical Director and Practice Leadership, serve as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) specializing in the delivery and management of Valeda Light Delivery System. This position involves working closely with physicians, staff, and patients to support treatment of retinal disease and other approved indications. Responsibilities include patient assessment, treatment administration, patient education, documentation, and coordination of care while supporting daily clinic operations and ensuring an exceptional patient experience.
Requirements:
Perform patient evaluations and determine eligibility for Valeda treatment protocols. Administer photo biomodulation treatments utilizing the Valeda Light Delivery System. Educate patients regarding treatment plans, expected outcomes, risks, benefits, and follow-up requirements. Obtain and document patient medical histories and treatment-related information. Monitor patients during treatment sessions and address concerns or adverse events. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within the EMR. Collaborate with physicians regarding treatment plans, patient progress, and clinical findings. Ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines, clinical protocols, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety standards. Coordinate patient scheduling and treatment flow. Maintain treatment equipment and treatment rooms.
