Job Description

The Newell Group is partnering with a leading prosthetic and orthotic care provider in the Detroit, MI area to recruit a skilled Certified Orthotist (CO) or Certified Prosthetist & Orthotist (CPO) with a strong interest in pediatric care to join their multidisciplinary clinical team. Position Overview As a CO/CPO, you will:
  • Provide comprehensive orthotic and/or prosthetic evaluations, fittings, adjustments, and follow up care across a diverse patient population, including a strong pediatric caseload.
  • Collaborate closely with children, parents, caregivers, and adult patients to design and implement solutions that improve mobility, comfort, and independence.
  • Work with a varied case mix including custom orthoses (AFOs, KAFOs, spinal and functional orthoses) and prosthetic devices for upper and lower limb loss or limb difference.
  • Partner with physicians, therapists, and a supportive clinical team that values coordinated, patient centered care and ongoing professional growth. What You'll Bring
  • Certification as a CO or CPO (ABC or equivalent).
  • Experience in pediatric O&P care — or a strong desire to build and expand your pediatric expertise while maintaining a broader clinical scope.
  • Strong clinical judgement, excellent communication skills, and the ability to connect with patients and families.
