Manager, Orthotics & Prosthetics Shriners Children's - 4.0 Woodbury, MN Job Details Full-time $82,825 - $141,977 a year 1 hour ago Qualifications BLS Certification Basic life support Full Job Description Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have an opportunity for a Manager, Orthotics & Prostetics to join our team. The pay range for this position is $82,825 annually to $141,980 annually. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and department equity. The Manager of Orthotics & Prosthetics is responsible for planning, directing, and managing the day-to-day activities of assigned staff; assuring provisions of quality orthotic/prosthetic devices are in accordance with Physician's prescription, and to act as a resource to staff, patients, families and the general public regarding assigned areas of responsibility. Responsible for planning, directing and managing the work of the O&P Technician staff, and Department Assistant staff on all day-to-day department operations Establishes workflow and communication with Fabrication Center (east and west) for all custom fabrication to endure safety and quality of all devices provided to patients Responsible for obtaining and maintaining ABC facility accreditation Demonstrates proficiency in OPIE (O&P Business Management Software) Functions independently to fulfill the professional responsibilities of a certified Prosthetist and/or Orthotist, including patient confidentiality Other duties as assigned Education Bachelor Orthotics and Prosthetics OR Bachelor's Degree with ABC approved Orthotic and Prosthetic certificate program and the successful completion of NCOPE residencies in both O&P OR Masters in Prosthetics & Orthotics Certification/Licensure Current American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics required. Current Minnesota licensure Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Card Certification required Experience Minimum three year of Clinical and technical experience in Orthotics and Prosthetics field is required. Five years of experience working in a hospital or medical office with insurance authorization is required. Shriners Children's is an EOE/Drug-Free, Smoke-Free Workplace.
