Our on-site ASE certified diesel mechanics provide a fleet of professionally maintained Type I, II and III ambulances. Duties:
Provides safe and friendly transport services for critical and non-critical patients. Contracted with multiple facilities in Denver Metro area to provide emergent care for critical and non-critical patients. Prepares to transport patients by completing operator vehicle inspections; inventorying supplies; correcting deficiencies. Responds to emergencies by choosing route; observing traffic conditions; avoiding dangerous situations; maintaining communications with dispatch. Determines medical and safety requirements at emergency scene by assessing medical status of ill or injured persons; assessing prevailing circumstances; calling for support. Completes all patient care reports by end of shift. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; bench marking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies. Mile High Ambulance is a State Certified Learning Center and provides CE opportunities for all Employees. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
