Paramedic Liquivida Brickell by Mesalogy Health Miami, FL Job Details Part-time | Full-time $20 - $30 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Customer communication Teamwork Patient monitoring Driving Clinical documentation Emergency medicine Full Job Description Job Summary Responsible for providing safe and effective mobile intravenous (IV) therapy services to clients in various settings, including homes, offices, and events. Duties include assessing patient needs, initiating and administering IV fluids, vitamins, and medications as ordered, and ensuring proper monitoring during and after treatment. Maintains strict adherence to infection control protocols, patient safety standards, and documentation requirements. Communicates clearly with patients to explain procedures, answer questions, and ensure comfort throughout the process. Coordinates appointments, manages supplies, and ensures all equipment is properly prepared and sanitized for each visit. Provides high-quality, patient-centered care while maintaining professionalism and efficiency in a mobile healthcare environment. Duties Administer IV fluids, vitamins, and medications in mobile and office settings. Assess patients before, during, and after treatment. Start and maintain IV access using sterile technique. Monitor for reactions and ensure patient safety. Document treatments and patient responses. Prepare and restock IV supplies and equipment. Follow infection control and safety protocols. Communicate clearly and professionally with patients. Travel to patient locations as scheduled.
Qualifications Qualifications:
Licensed Nurse (RN or LPN/LVN) or certified IV therapy provider (as required by state). Experience in IV insertion and infusion therapy preferred. Strong knowledge of infection control and patient safety standards. Ability to assess patient condition and respond to complications. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently in mobile settings. Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if mobile role)
Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
