Job Summary This position is
Fire Station Based About Heartland Ambulance:
We are a private ambulance provider in Indiana with a mission to provide the highest quality of care. We recognize that each patient has individual needs, which comprise the total person, and we have the responsibility to assist patients with their healthcare needs, while creating a positive work environment for our team members. We are a growing company and are always looking for good Paramedics and EMT's to join our team.
PARAMEDIC SUMMARY
Our Paramedics provide advanced life support and basic life support emergency medical care, patient assessment and care, transport services, and other services.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

GED ACLS
Certification (preferred not required) BCLS Certification (preferred not required)
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
: Must maintain valid, current (State) Emergency Medical Technician
  • Paramedic certification.
. Must maintain BCLS and ACLS certifications (preferred not required) Current and valid state Driver's License BLS CPR certification RSI competency (preferred not required)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Safe and efficient operation of ambulances and other company equipment. Basic life support treatment and transportation of sick and injured persons. Providing basic and advanced emergency medical treatment and life-saving procedures Prepares inventories and stocks supplies and inspects equipment for proper operation. Must be able to safely lift, transfer and maneuver patients in and out of ambulances, facilities, residences and other locations. Respond to emergency calls, assess patient condition and make critical care decisions quickly Complete any and all paperwork Follow proper protocol and maintain professional appearance at all times' '
