We are currently looking for an ambitious EMT to help us reach our goals. Unlock your potential here! Here is some of what you can expect from being a Histotechnologist with us:

+ You will function as a primary care provider in the out-of-hospital setting.

+ You will be responsible for all aspects of care provided to the sick and injured.

+ You will provide basic life support, including patient assessment, airway management, use of the automatic defibrillator, and assist patients with taking some of their own medications as protocol allows.

+ You will be responsible for driving the ambulance in a safe and responsible manner under all conditions.

+ You must have a thorough knowledge of the street, highway, and addressing systems in which he or she will be working.

+ You must understand all applicable legal, moral, and ethical issues surrounding the emergency medical service environment.

+ You should be dedicated to continuing education and maintenance of licensures and certifications.

+ You should have minimum mechanical knowledge of the ambulance and be able to troubleshoot when issues arise Position Requirements

+ Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire

+ High School Diploma/ GED

+ Current Kansas State EMT Certification

+ Current National Registry Certification

+ Current Basic Life Support Certification

+ Driver's License (must be valid, current and unrestricted)
