• Job Summary and Qualifications
• What you should expect to do in this role:
• + •You will establish IV access as delegated by a RN.
• + •You will provide assistance with patient care, transportation of patients, specimens and supplies; cleaning and stocking the department, patient rooms and transport ambulance; other duties as assigned •+ •You will perform intra facility transport•+ •Your job will perform assigned tasks and activities according to skill level and patient needs as assessed by the RN•+ •You will support nursing personnel in providing care to patients and assists with providing a safe, quiet, clean, organized environment for healthcare delivery•+ •You will answer telephone and intercom efficiently and courteously, relaying messages and calls toappropriate personneland other departments as needed •+ •Your role maintains records, transcribes physician orders, and assures orders are carried out in an expeditious manner•What qualification you will need for this role:•+ •Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)•+ •Current certification/licensure as a Paramedic per state requirements.
