IFT Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY

This role coordinates external patient transportation based on triage of emergency and non-emergency requests across all three hospitals (BMC, NARH, FVH).

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Experience:

Two years field related clinical experience as an EMT required. Paramedic experience preferred.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Licensure & Certifications:

CERTEM - Certified EMT Paramedic in MA required. National Registered EMT preferred. Paramedic preferred. BLS required. ACLS required. PALS preferred.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Medical Terminology required. Knowledge of Insurance prior authorization required. General Office skills required. Strong independent management skills. Strong interpersonal skills. High level of flexibility. Organizational skills. Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strong communication skills.
