General Summary of Position Join our ground transport team in Clinton, Maryland as an ALS Paramedic where you'll medically support and care for transport patients to other medical/hospital facilities working closely with EMT's and Critical Care nurses. To be considered, candidates must have NREMT- P, MD Paramedic License and a minimum of one year experience.
- $3,000 after successful completion of orientation and probation; $2,500 after 12 months; $2,500 after 18 months.
- National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians-Paramedic required Paramedic
- Certified in the District of Columbia within 30 Days required Paramedic
- Licensed in Maryland within 30 Days required CPR
- Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (includes BLS and NRP) for healthcare providers from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross within 90 Days required Additional unit/specialty certifications may vary by department or business unit. Health Services\ACLS required Health Services\PALS
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support required ATLS
- Advanced Trauma Life Support Certification within 180 Days required or TPATC
- Transport Prof Adv Trauma Crse within 180 Days required or PHTLS
- Prehospital Trauma Life Support Certification within 180 Days required or TNCC
- Trauma Nursing Core Course within 180 Days required or ATCN
- Advanced Trauma Care Nurse Certification within 180 Days required NIH Stroke Scale
- NIHSS within 90 Days required
