Job Description
AMR is seeking skilled Paramedics to join our Emergency Services team in Healthcare & Medical Services. In this role, you'll provide advanced pre-hospital life support, assess and stabilize patients, and safely transport them to medical facilities. You'll operate ambulances and medical equipment, communicate effectively with dispatch and hospital staff, and accurately document patient care. At AMR, you'll work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment that values safety, professionalism, and continuous clinical training while making a direct impact on community health and public safety. Responsibilities Provide advanced life support and pre-hospital emergency care to patients. Assess, stabilize, and monitor patients during transport. Operate and maintain ambulances and life support equipment safely. Communicate with dispatch, hospitals, and public safety partners. Document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately. Follow clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with EMTs, nurses, and physicians as part of a care team. Participate in ongoing clinical training and skills development. Support both emergency and non-emergency medical transportation. Represent AMR professionally and support community/public safety initiatives. Required Skills Advanced Life Support (ALS) Pre-hospital patient assessment Airway management and ventilation IV/IO access and medication administration Cardiac monitoring and ECG interpretation Trauma management and stabilization Use of defibrillators and resuscitation equipment Emergency vehicle operation (EVOC) Electronic patient care reporting (e PCR) Knowledge of EMS protocols and regulations
