What You'll Do:
Protect patient rights, confidentiality, and HIPAA compliance while adhering to all Advocate policies. Deliver high-quality patient care, education, and clinical interventions in accordance with Mobile Medicine standards, state regulations, and professional practice guidelines. Accurately assess patient conditions, interpret monitoring data, and respond with appropriate interventions to ensure safe, effective care and recovery. Maintain precise, detailed, and legible documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes. Safely administer medications, IV therapies, and other clinical treatments according to established policies and protocols. Support operational readiness by maintaining clean vehicles and work environments, managing equipment and supply levels, and remaining flexible with vehicle assignments based on departmental needs. Utilize technology, performance improvement practices, cultural competency, ethics, and reimbursement model knowledge to enhance patient access, outcomes, and Mobile Medicine operations.
We're Looking For:
Bachelor's Degree preferred. applicable state EMT-Paramedic required for duration of employment with Mobile Medicine. South Carolina EMT-Paramedic and National Registry required within 1 year of hire. Certified Community Paramedic (CP-C) or other CAMTS-designated provider credentialing required within two years of hire and maintained for the duration of employment. Maintains required certifications to include ACLS, PALS, BLS, as directed by the Medical Director. 3 years' full-time experience in an 9-1-1 system functioning at the paramedic level of practice in any setting over any length of time or 3 years' full-time experience in a comprehensive (non-critical access) emergency department with a high-volumevisits per day Valid driver's license required, and individual must have at time of hire and maintain for duration of employment a motor vehicle operator record acceptable to Advocate Health's insurance carrier/underwriter. Must be able to drive vehicles safely in all types of weather. Knowledge of healthcare, EMS systems, and other regulating organizations including but not limited to local, state, and federal regulations preferred.
