Duties Respond promptly to emergency calls, providing advanced medical care on scene and during patient transport. Perform thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and trauma evaluations. Manage airway techniques, ventilation support, and cardiovascular emergencies with precision and confidence. Administer medications via injections or other methods following established protocols while monitoring patient responses. Operate emergency vehicles safely through city streets and rural areas, navigating efficiently under urgent conditions. Utilize medical equipment such as DME (Durable Medical Equipment), monitors, and airway management tools effectively. Coordinate with incident command teams and hospital staff to ensure seamless patient handoffs and continuity of care. Qualifications Valid certification as a Paramedic with current licensure; additional EMT experience is highly valued. Demonstrated critical care experience, including trauma medicine at Level I or Level II trauma centers. Extensive hospital experience with exposure to emergency room procedures and urgent care settings. Proficiency in triage, neonatal resuscitation procedures, pediatric emergency care, and cardiovascular emergency response. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques necessary for high-quality patient care. Experience with trauma care, incident command protocols, venipuncture, medication administration, and medical equipment operation. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks such as patient lifting and transportation. Excellent navigation skills on city streets combined with a commitment to safe driving practices during emergency responses.
