Key responsibilities include:

Qualifications Education & Experience:

+ High school diploma or equivalent required + At least 1 year of experience in EMS (Advanced Life Support level) is preferred + Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 100 pounds + Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions + Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to different base sites as needed + Must be eligible for Medical Command authorization from the Medical Director + Completion of UPMC's orientation program, including classroom training + Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and specialized equipment ️ Licenses & Certifications (Required): + Certified Paramedic in Pennsylvania + Valid Driver's License + Emergency Vehicle Operator Course (EVOC) or Emergency Vehicle Driver (EVD) + EMSVO Certification (must be obtained within 90 days of hire) + Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) + Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR Certification Clearances (Required with Renewal): + Act 31
