Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Provide emergency medical care to patients in various settings, including homes, hospitals, and ambulances.
  • Assess patient conditions and determine appropriate treatment plans.
  • Administer basic life support techniques, including CPR and first aid.
  • Perform patient assessments and gather vital signs.
  • Utilize aseptic techniques to prevent infection transmission.
  • Safely lift and move patients, including heavy lifting when necessary.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Document all patient interactions and treatments accurately and thoroughly.
Qualifications:
  • Valid certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).
  • Proficient in patient care techniques and procedures.
  • Knowledge of basic life support protocols and procedures.
  • Strong assessment skills to quickly evaluate patient conditions.
  • Ability to work in high-stress situations and make critical decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with emergency room (ER) and hospital environments.
  • Experience conducting physical examinations and utilizing durable medical equipment (DME).
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
