Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Hyperbaric Technician and become a vital part of delivering innovative, life-changing treatments. In this role, you will operate hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) chambers to provide safe, effective care to patients undergoing specialized treatment protocols. Your expertise will ensure optimal patient safety, comfort, and treatment outcomes while working in a fast-paced, supportive environment dedicated to advancing healing and wellness. Responsibilities Prepare hyperbaric chambers and equipment for patient sessions, ensuring all safety protocols are meticulously followed. Monitor patients closely during therapy sessions, observing vital signs and responding promptly to any adverse reactions or emergencies. Assist healthcare providers with patient assessments, including explaining procedures and addressing patient questions to foster comfort and understanding. Maintain detailed records of each treatment session, including patient data, chamber conditions, and any incidents or observations. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of hyperbaric equipment to ensure optimal operation and compliance with safety standards. Educate patients on treatment procedures, safety guidelines, and post-treatment care to promote adherence and positive outcomes. Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate treatment schedules and ensure seamless delivery of care within the facility. Skills Strong understanding of hyperbaric oxygen therapy principles, safety procedures, and emergency response protocols. Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with healthcare teams. Ability to operate hyperbaric chambers and related medical equipment confidently and safely. Detail-oriented with excellent record-keeping skills for accurate documentation of treatments. Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond swiftly in emergency situations.
