DESCRIPTION

As a Full-Time Paramedic, you'll provide advanced life support, emergency medical care, and patient transportation while working alongside highly trained emergency responders. ESSENTIAL DUTIES, FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
What You'll Do Deliver advanced emergency medical care and patient assessment in a variety of emergency situations. Safely operate and maintain ambulances and EMS equipment. Respond to medical emergencies and provide high-quality patient care and transport. Participate in ongoing training and professional development. Assist with maintenance of stations, vehicles, equipment, and facilities. Support emergency incident operations, including firefighter rehabilitation and medical support functions. Participate in community education and public outreach programs. Maintain physical readiness and operational excellence What We're Looking For Successful candidates are: Patient-focused and committed to exceptional customer service. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Required Certifications & Credentials Utah Paramedic Certification Valid Utah Driver's License (or ability to obtain upon hire) NIMS 100, 200, and 700 certifications within six months of hire Additional Requirements High School Diploma or GED Minimum age of (21) twenty-one years Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Ability to successfully complete required background screening and employment standards Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to perform strenuous physical activity in emergency and non-emergency environments, including: Lifting and moving patients and equipment Working in extreme weather conditions Standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, and carrying equipment for extended periods Maintaining the physical fitness necessary to perform emergency response duties
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Must pass state required certification as well as PCFD standards for Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) About Park City Fire Service District The Park City Fire Service District provides emergency medical services, fire suppression, rescue operations, fire prevention, and community risk reduction services throughout approximately 110 square miles of Summit County.
