Job Description

Job Overview As a Paramedic, you will play a critical role in providing emergency medical care to patients in various situations, including pre-hospital and critical care environments. You will be responsible for assessing patients, delivering advanced life support, and ensuring safe transport to medical facilities. This position requires a high level of expertise in emergency medicine and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine the nature and extent of injuries or illnesses. Administer advanced life support, including airway management, medication administration, and intravenous therapy. Perform triage in emergency situations to prioritize patient care based on severity. Perform physical examinations and monitor vital signs throughout patient care. Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures to prevent infection. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in urgent care settings, including emergency rooms and trauma centers. Skills Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. Proficiency in critical care procedures such as venipuncture, medication administration, and emergency interventions. Experience with DME (Durable Medical Equipment) management and patient care protocols. Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist patients as needed during transport or treatment. Familiarity with urgent care practices and experience in Level I or Level II trauma centers is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Proven ability to remain calm under pressure while delivering high-quality patient care in fast-paced environments. This role requires a dedicated professional committed to providing exceptional emergency medical services while ensuring the safety and well-being of patients at all times.
