We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Paramedic to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality emergency medical care in support of the Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape course at Fairchild AFB, WA. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, effective communication skills, and the ability to perform under pressure. Qualifications The paramedic must have a Secret clearance before starting work The paramedic shall be a Nationally Registered Paramedic with a minimum of two (2) years' experience and knowledge of trauma. The paramedic shall be Prehospital Trauma Life Support, Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support Qualified. The paramedic shall be qualified to identify dive medical emergencies The paramedic must have never had paramedic certification suspended or revoked. Responsibilities Assess patient complaints and determine the best course of action. Provide first aid or life support to sick or injured personnel and as necessary Coordinate transport to higher medical care as necessary Be familiar with equipment and supplies used for Medical Operational Support and will replenish when supplies are used Conduct end of month checks of medical supplies to ensure there are no expired items Complete annual Skill Level 4 testing on the current United States Departments of the Army and Air Force Joint Prehospital Emergency Care Protocols Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine the nature and extent of injuries or illnesses.
