Performs first responder care inside the facility within the scope and training of the State of Wisconsin EMS scope of Practice and Critical Care Paramedic guidelinesAssists in delivery of direct patient care in the IMCU, hospital, and residential programs.
Performs CPR based on established standards.
Adheres to and supports the policies of Lakeview Specialty Hospital & Rehab and abides by the general guidelines of conduct while on duty.
Valid drivers license and clean driving record required. Minimum age requirement per insurance standards must also be met.
Position Purpose:
To serve in a clinical capacity to better provide quality patient care to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients as needed. Under the supervision of the ESU Director, assist in the hospital and other care areas as well as other assigned duties. The Paramedic will work closely with the attending physician and nursing team as well as the ancillary departments of the facility.Key Responsibilities:
Initiates and completes appropriate forms and documentation.Performs first responder care inside the facility within the scope and training of the State of Wisconsin EMS scope of Practice and Critical Care Paramedic guidelinesAssists in delivery of direct patient care in the IMCU, hospital, and residential programs.

Qualifications & Performance Standards:
Skill, Knowledge, and Abilities:
ACLS, intubation, IV initiation, medication delivery, phlebotomy, physical assessment, vital signs, telemetry, first aide, computer applications/documentation,Education:
High School Graduate required. An undergraduate degree preferred in healthcare related field.Valid drivers license and clean driving record required. Minimum age requirement per insurance standards must also be met.
