MAIN FUNCTION

Looking for a Registered Nurse to serve as the primary point of contact for pregnant patients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing emotional support. Provide information on prenatal care, screening tests, and available resources to patients. Ensure that patients understand their care plan and follow necessary steps for optimal health during pregnancy. Schedule and manage prenatal appointments, ultrasounds, and other necessary tests for patients. Send reminders and follow-ups for upcoming appointments and procedures. Coordinate with various healthcare providers, including obstetricians, sonographers, and specialists, to ensure seamless care. Assist patients with understanding insurance coverage and financial options for prenatal care. Accurately types, transcribes all documentation in a timely manner. Always proofreads work prior to distribution. Promptly completes assignments in an independent manner; meets deadlines in daily responsibilities and special projects. Follows-up on patient scheduling. Act as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers, ensuring timely and clear communication of test results, concerns, and follow-up care. Support care teams by sharing updates on patient progress and ensuring continuity of care. Work closely with insurance providers, if necessary, to ensure patients have access to appropriate care.

EDUCATION

Associate's in Nursing or Bachelor's in Nursing

EXPERIENCE

Prior experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in prenatal care or women's health, is highly preferred.
