Eastern Acupuncture & Wellness is seeking a highly organized and proactive Lead Front Desk Patient Advocate to join our growing team. This role will begin as part-time with the opportunity to transition into a full-time leadership position. We are looking for someone with a strong medical background and insurance verification experience who can confidently lead front desk operations while delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily front desk operations with efficiency and professionalism Handle incoming and outgoing patient communications (calls, emails, text messages) Perform accurate insurance verification and maintain patient records Utilize EHR systems for scheduling, documentation, and patient management Scan and organize documents in a timely and structured manner Conduct patient recall outreach to maintain continuity of care Deliver outstanding customer service and patient experience Demonstrate strong time management and prioritization skills Oversee front desk scheduling, including managing staff coverage and call-outs Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office environment
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a medical office setting (required) Strong understanding of insurance verification processes (required) Leadership mindset with the ability to take initiative and manage responsibilities independently Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency with EHR systems and general office technology Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
