The successful candidate:
Demonstrates the concern and responsiveness of the hospital in meeting the needs of patients by following through on patient requests or complaints with the appropriate personnel and/or departments to assist in improving service. Education/Experience Level Associate's degree required, bachelor's degree preferred Minimum two years' experience in healthcare or customer service-related field preferred Patient Advocate experience strongly preferred Knowledge and Skills Knowledge of medical terminology a plus Strong communication skills Computer proficiency in Microsoft office products Excellent organization, creativity, latitude, independent thinking, personal judgment, and problem-solving skills Relationship building across all levels City of Hope is an equal opportunity employer.
