Job Description

AIM is seeking an In-Person Assistor/ Insurance Navigator to join our mission-driven organization. Our growing team is offering a full benefits package that includes: Paid Training Life insurance 403(b) with matching Paid Holidays Generous paid time off and a culture of work/life balance
Flexible Schedule Position Snapshot:
The IPA/Navigator Program provides competent, appropriate, and disability-accessible enrollment services to individuals, families, and small businesses and their employees who apply for health insurance through the New York State of Health Marketplace.
Essential Functions:
Provide in-person assistance to those applying for health insurance coverage at the time of initial application and annual renewal. Educate potential enrollees about the Marketplace and the types of insurance programs offered. Facilitate the selection of a Qualified Health Plan in the Marketplace, or when appropriate, an Insurance Affordability Program. Provide information and assistance to small businesses that provide health insurance to their employees through the SHOP. Conduct public education activities to raise awareness about the Marketplace, including outreach to small businesses. Maintain expertise in eligibility, enrollment, and program specification for various insurance programs available through the Marketplace.
Candidate Requirements need to include:
Associate's Degree in Health and Human Services or related fields, or Any combination of education and experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and ability necessary to perform the essential functions of this position to the satisfaction of AIM's CEO.
