Job Description

Position Overview:
Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA / NYCPS) - Part Time / Fee-for-Service RevCore Recovery Center of Manhattan is seeking Certified Recovery Peer Advocates to provide peer support services in the community and within our outpatient clinic locations across the five boroughs of New York City. Applicants must hold an active CRPA certification or qualifying NYCPS peer certification . This is a fee-for-service position , not a traditional hourly position. Compensation is based only on completed direct, billable service hours with patients .
Rate:
$25-$30 per billable direct service hour Peer Advocates may provide services both in the community and at RevCore clinic locations throughout NYC. We are looking for reliable, professional peers who are comfortable working independently in the community, engaging patients, supporting recovery goals, and maintaining appropriate documentation and professional boundaries.
Please note:
The advertised rate applies specifically to billable direct service time provided to patients and should not be interpreted as a guaranteed hourly wage or guaranteed number of weekly hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide recovery-oriented peer support to patients in the community and at RevCore clinic locations. Engage patients and support them in working toward individualized recovery goals. Assist patients with linkage to community resources, benefits, treatment, and other supportive services. Provide advocacy, encouragement, and practical support based on the peer role. Accompany patients to appointments or community-based services when appropriate. Maintain professional boundaries and communicate respectfully with patients, families, and staff. Complete required documentation accurately and within established timeframes. Participate in supervision, required trainings, and agency meetings as applicable. Follow all RevCore policies, confidentiality requirements, and program expectations. Maintain flexibility to provide services across assigned locations and within the community.
Qualifications:
Required 1 of the following: CRPA certification NYCPS certificate
Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate others. Empathy and understanding of the challenges faced by individuals in recovery. Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
Pay:
