The patient advocate has the responsibility acting as a liaison between the patients' family and the nursing staff for Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital at Fort Worth and Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Outpatient Center. Ability to utilize Electronic Health Care Record for patient documentation. Performs effectively in stressful situations to fulfill position responsibilities. Able to communicate effectively with patients' families. Able to communicate appropriate information from the doctors and nursing staff.
