Job Description

Salary Range:
$18.85 - $22.86 Pay rates are determined based on experience and internal equity.
Position Summary:
Works closely with all Technologists to coordinate timing of patient transport Aids the Technologist with patient transfer from bed/imaging table to mode of transport Transports patients safely and respectfully, preserving their dignity. Hands off the care of each patient at the end of transport. Must work well under stress or tight deadlines. Pulls and files X-ray Jackets from offsite storage Receives and returns outside films Imports CD's into PACS Monitor Auto Faxing portion of report distribution. Attends to legal correspondence Other duties as requested by Office Manager or Director. Must work well with supervisors, co-workers, patients/residents, family members and visitors.

The ability to communicate verbally and in written form in English. The ability to lift and carry x-ray jackets on level ground. The ability to be supervised. The ability to work as a Team. The ability to have positive personal interactions with staff, patients/residents and visitors.
Position Qualifications:
Education:
High School or equivalent.
Experience:
None Skills/Ability:
Ability to communicate effectively with staff and physicians. Detail oriented and thorough in finding/filing jackets, reports etc. Must be organized and be able to file using alpha numeric system. LVMC reserves the right to modify the minimum requirements depending on the needs of the organization.
