What You Can Expect:
The Supervisor Assistive Personnel is responsible for managing staff, overseeing patient care and ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures. Supervises, plans, and evaluates direct care staff to ensure patients receive optimum care. Oversees daily operations of the unit to promote quality/efficient patient care management. Assists with coordination of schedule to ensure adequate staffing levels. Provide leadership, guidance, counseling and continuing education to staff. Select, develop, coach, mentor, and assess performance of staff. Evaluates performance of assigned employees based on job standards. Assists the Nursing Manager in meeting budget targets for unit through effective utilization of staffing ratios. Provides budgetary and performance improvement feedback to management. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
