Make a Difference The Transportation Aide and Patient Lift Team Member works individually and/or in a team of no less than two. Performs and assists with transportation and/or patient lifts and other patient handling maneuvers, as delegated by the Manager or Director, in collaboration with a Registered Nurse Exceptional Skills and Qualifications Healthcare experience as a Transporter, Certified Nursing Assistant, Patient Support Tech, Emergency Medical Tech, etc. High school diploma or GED equivalent. Understanding of patient focused care. Relationship skills. Proficiency in oral and written communication. Ability to critically think, work semi-independently, multi-task, and work under pressure. Ability to demonstrate competence in body mechanics and proper lifting technique. Additional Qualifications Must have the ability to stand for extended periods of time. Must have the ability to walk, climb/descend stairs, push, pull, bend, squat, and kneel without restrictions. Must be able to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 75 lbs. Why Community?
