POSITION SUMMARY

The ASC Transporter is responsible for assisting patients to and from the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and providing a general courier service to Hattiesburg Clinic.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent, required Must be at least 21 years of age or older, required Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, required Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Professional appearance Outgoing and pleasant personality Excellent communication skills Ability to deal with stressful and complicated situations with poise and precise decision-making

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to walk and remain on feet for several hours at a time Assist with lifting amounts of weight more than 100+lbs Ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, twist for extended periods, up to 8 hours per day Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling or reaching, both overhead and at or below shoulder level Constant communication (including speaking and hearing) both face to face and over the phone
