More about our team Rutherford Regional Health System is a 143-bed acute care facility which offers a broad array of inpatient and outpatient care. Rutherford Regional is dedicated to providing patients with a full range of services to meet your healthcare needs. We provide our services in a caring, professional environment through the teamwork of our medical staff and employees. How you'll contribute A Radiology Transporter who excels in this role: Safely and efficiently transport patients to and from the Operating Room (OR), Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), Outpatient Services, and other designated areas throughout the facility. Transport patients via wheelchair, stretcher, or bed, including those requiring oxygen, IV pumps, monitors, and other specialized equipment Assist in operating room turnover by cleaning between cases, moving equipment, and restocking supplies Communicate effectively with surgical, anesthesia, nursing, and support staff to coordinate patient movement and room readiness. Follow strict infection control, safety, patient privacy, and hospital protocols during all transport and room turnover activities. Deliver specimens, equipment, and supplies to appropriate departments in a timely manner. Observe and report patient concerns, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards to appropriate personnel.
