Job Details Description Position Summary:

Under the instruction of the Dispatcher-transports patients, equipment, specimens and patient records throughout the Center as well as assists the Distribution team members with their responsibilities such as appropriately checking and storing equipment, checking and replenishing nutritional refrigerators, checking and replenishing O2 tanks for the various units, and pulling linen using the appropriate picklists, and delivering equipment and supplies. The transport team member will also assist in responding to call bells when patients are in need of assistance, resolving issues that arise from these tasks as appropriate and involving the Transport Dispatcher of more challenging issues that arise.

High School Diploma or GED Required License /

Credentials:

Current BCLS (must be able to have within 90 days)

Contact With Others:

Contacts with other departments, patients families and visitors, requiring tact and discretion.

Supervision Received:

Reporting directly to the Transport Dispatcher.

Hours:

Full-time 80 hours per pay period

•The minimum starting rate for this position is $17.33 When determining a team members base rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., years of recent relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity).
