EMPLOYEE RESPONSIBLITIES
Unit Responsibility/Accountability Serves as a positive role model- maintains a positive attitude.
Patient Contact:
Associate transports newborn, infant, adult, adolescent and geriatric patients via wheelchair, beds, or stretcher to departments/units. Evidence exists that the employee has obtained age-specific education and training. Maintains clutter-free environment within the hospital and surrounding areas. Assigned specific areas to monitor by lead transporter. Expected to clear unwanted equipment such as wheelchairs, 02 tanks, stretchers, and beds. Attendance Follows the time and attendance policy; reports to work on time and log into EPIC ready to work, maintains a good attendance record, has badge to clock in and out, makes requests for time off as far in advance as possible, etc. Attends required in-services, including but not limited to: Demonstrates proficiency in CPR. Completes yearly education/competency review per department guidelines. QualificationsKNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
