Job Summary Fitness Collective is seeking a passionate and dynamic individual to join our team! We're looking for someone who can deliver an exceptional client experience and help us continue to grow, both on the training floor and with customer service excellence at the front desk. This role is key in supporting our mission of helping more people live their best lives through individualized personal training. Life is too short to feel unfulfilled in your job. Come help us change lives in the Flagstaff community! The $20 - $34 range reflects the significant growth potential in this role. New trainers typically start at $20/session for the first 90 days, move to $21 post-90 days, and can reach $23 within the first six months, demonstrating our commitment to consistent increases based on experience and developed skills. The top of the range, up to $34/session, is attainable for our high-performing, long-term trainers who have mastered advanced techniques, achieved in-house certifications, and may take on mentoring or specialized roles. Our trainers enjoy a rewarding full-time role that balances training sessions with paid office hours, and we offer part-time flexibility as well. Responsibilities Plan individualized workouts for all clients utilizing Fitness Collective's specialized software, taking clients' goals, desires, injuries, limitations, and Fitness Coordinating notes into account to ensure each client receives a safe and effective workout. Manage a personal training session of up to 6 clients at once while delivering individualized workouts to each client in an efficient and effective manner and avoiding lag time. Exemplify and uphold the mission statement and values of the organization. Maintain our tight-knit community culture by developing relationships with our clients and fellow team members. Ensure that all client communications are handled in a timely manner with the highest level of customer service possible. Perform routine cleaning & maintenance tasks to keep the facility safe, pristine & well-stocked. Progress through personal training "levels" by completing necessary training, reading assignments, practicals, and client reviews. Required Qualifications Must be passionate about fitness and have a strong desire to help others. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact well with people of all ages and personality styles. Desire to encourage, coach, and personally relate to a wide array of clients. One year of customer service experience. Must be able to lift at least 45 pounds. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Must have access to a computer or laptop. Ability to work early mornings, evenings, and Saturdays (we are closed Sunday). Desired Qualifications Maintains a high level of professionalism, is detail-oriented, and has the ability to multi-task with speed and accuracy. Ability to work with a close-knit team. Excellent communication skills. Personal training certification not required upon hire, but must be obtained within first six months of employment. Timeliness and dependability. Passion for personal growth and development.
