Job Description

Overview We have a beautiful classical Pilates studio in downtown Encinitas. It is more geared toward injuries and rehabilitation and has 2 Merrithew reformers as well as 1 stability chair. There is plenty of floor space for group mat classes as well, however, noise has to be kept to a minimum due to surrounding businesses. This is an open space for someone that needs a home base for training their already existing clientele. It can be used for private sessions, duets or quiet group classes. We will also consider yoga if that is what you provide. There is a sign on the building so there is opportunity to acquire more clientele. All supplies are provided. Must be insured and have current certifications. Hours available 7 days a week. Duties Design and adapt exercise programs tailored to diverse client needs, fitness levels, and health conditions. Ensure all classes adhere to safety protocols, including first aid procedures, CPR certification, AED operation, and manual handling standards. Experience Proven experience teaching group fitness classes in yoga or Pilates, with additional knowledge of reformer equipment. Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and body mechanics relevant to movement instruction. Certification in yoga instruction or Pilates teaching from a recognized organization.
