We are looking for a dependable, energetic, and coachable Part-Time Fitness Coach / Personal Trainer who enjoys working with people and wants to grow as part of a team. We are not necessarily looking for the person with the most years of experience. About Alloy Personal Training Alloy specializes in personalized small-group personal training for adults. Each client follows an individualized program within a supportive small-group environment. Our programming, coaching systems, and client information are provided. This allows our coaches to focus on what matters most: Delivering excellent coaching Building relationships Keeping clients safe Helping clients remain motivated and accountable Creating a positive experience every time they visit Our philosophy is simple: hire the athlete and train the skill. The Role As a Part-Time Fitness Coach, you will coach scheduled small-group personal training sessions and help maintain the high level of client service expected at Alloy. This role provides coaching coverage that allows the Head Coach and Director of Training to manage the studio, support clients, lead the team, and maintain a manageable schedule. You will not be expected to create your own workout programs. You will learn and execute the Alloy coaching system while providing individualized attention to each client. What You Will Do Coach personalized small-group training sessions using Alloy programming Review client goals, restrictions, corrective exercises, and coaching notes before each session Apply appropriate exercise modifications and progressions Demonstrate exercises and provide clear verbal coaching cues Maintain a safe, organized, and positive training environment Build genuine relationships with clients Learn clients' names, goals, limitations, and preferences Encourage clients and celebrate their progress Help every client feel welcomed, noticed, and supported Record accurate workout and client notes in the Alloy app Follow up with no-shows according to studio procedures Check clients in and out using studio software Prepare the training floor, equipment, and daily workout display before sessions Remain engaged on the training floor throughout the shift Help other coaches and clients when not assigned to a specific session Keep the studio clean, organized, and professional Complete assigned opening and closing responsibilities Attend required team meetings and training Support studio events, client celebrations, and community activities Communicate client concerns and relevant observations to the Head Coach or Director of Training Uphold Alloy's mission, standards, and core values What Success Looks Like Successful coaches at

Strong communication, emotional intelligence, dependability, and the ability to make people feel welcome are equally important. Qualifications Personal training certification from a nationally recognized organization, or willingness to obtain an approved certification before coaching independently Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain it before coaching independently Ability to coach adults with different fitness levels, abilities, and limitations Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills Ability to demonstrate exercises and safely move equipment Dependable transportation Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to use mobile apps and basic scheduling software Availability for the specific shifts listed in this posting Willingness to attend required staff meetings and training Scheduling This is a part-time position. Coaching demand is typically highest during: Early mornings Evenings Saturdays Applicants should clearly state their consistent weekly availability. Reliability for agreed-upon shifts is essential.
