This specialized role involves guiding expectant and new mothers through safe, effective, and empowering Pilates routines tailored to their unique needs during pregnancy and postpartum recovery. As a vital part of our wellness community, you will inspire clients to achieve their fitness goals while promoting health, safety, and confidence throughout their motherhood journey. Your expertise will help foster a supportive environment where women feel motivated, informed, and energized. Duties Lead engaging and safe pre and postnatal Pilates classes, demonstrating proper exercise routines tailored to pregnancy and postpartum stages Design customized workout programs that accommodate individual client needs, fitness levels, and medical considerations Provide clear instructions on body mechanics, biomechanics, and anatomy relevant to prenatal and postpartum fitness Ensure all exercises are performed with correct technique, emphasizing safety, manual handling, and injury prevention Offer motivational coaching to encourage clients' progress, confidence, and overall well-being during their fitness journey Sell memberships and packages to clients so they can continue taking your classes. Stay updated on health guidelines related to pregnancy fitness, including CPR and AED operation requirements Requirements Proven experience in group fitness instruction with a focus on Pilates or similar exercise modalities such as yoga or body mechanics training Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and health considerations specific to pregnancy and postpartum recovery Certification in Pilates instruction; additional certifications in yoga, bodyweight training, or sports coaching are highly desirable Valid first aid certification including CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation training Excellent client communication skills with the ability to motivate diverse groups of women through tailored exercise routines Fitness industry experience with a background in personal training or group fitness classes such as BodyPump or CrossFit is advantageous Physical fitness training skills including heavy lifting techniques when appropriate for client safety and program design Knowledge of cycling or dancing can enhance class variety; experience in sports coaching or health club environments is a plus Join us in empowering women through safe, effective pre & postnatal Pilates!
