What they do

A Personal Trainer or Fitness Instructor develops customized exercise and fitness programs for clients. Reviews health and fitness goals, teaches correct and safe exercise technique, monitors progress and provides encouragement for clients. Leads fitness and exercise classes at a community center, club or pool. Teaches aerobics, water, strength building or other exercises and maintains equipment.

Varies/Part Time 24 hours per week mostly during after school, some nights and weekends required. 8-hour shifts available during school vacations
General Summary:
Seeking a hard-working, enthusiastic, patient individual with strong values and leadership skills. Work in a dynamic and fun environment. Must be knowledgeable in crafts, games and sports; needs to work effectively with children and adults while creating a positive and fun atmosphere with an emphasis on customer service.
Relevant Experience Or Requirements:
Able to work with children. Understanding of common sports, games and recreational activities for all ages. Effective communication skills. Training in all areas of recreation provided .
